Ambassadors Program – The Circular Economy Institute

The Ambassadors Program is a leadership opportunity for CEI Alumni to promote the CEI mission and offerings in their communities.

It is designed for those individuals or organizations passionate about The Institute’s mission of promoting the highest standards of practice in the circular economy field. In order to shift from linear to circular, it is imperative to embrace the highest standards of practice. Renaming the same old procedures with the word “circular” is not OK. We need to redesign, rethink and rebuild our economies, and our Ambassadors and Alumni are working on it.

As an Ambassador individual or organization at the Circular Economy Institute, you help amplify The Institute’s mission reach. By becoming an Ambassador you adhere to the CEI Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct and you will also earn several perks.

THE ROLE OF A CEI AMBASSADOR

Both individual and organizational CEI Ambassadors commit to embody the CEI values of professionalism and rigor, and spread the word about its programs. Each Ambassador is expected to:

Participate in a minimum of 5 talks per year to speak about the circular economy and the CEI programs
Share the CEI launches and announcements through any channels you want, including Social media, Blogging, Radio, TV, Events or among your networks
Are responsive to CEI emails or requests (expect 1 email from CEI every 2 months on average)
The CEI Ambassador title is free and renewable every 2 years and CEI will only renew the titles from those who match or perform above the aforementioned expectations

REQUIREMENTS

For individual applicants:

Being a CEI Alumni from one of the CEI certificates
7+ years experience in a Director level or above at a national organization from any country, OR 4+ years of experience in an international organization

For organizational applicants:

Having at least a CEI Alumni from one of the CEI certificate among your staff
7+ years operating in your field
