How to become a CEI Fellow member
Criteria: Demonstrate extensive knowledge, expertise and leadership in circular economy. Show how you have promoted behavioural and cultural change, led projects and communicated circular economy principles to diverse stakeholders at all levels.
Process
- Complete the application form
- Submit your CV and professional statement demonstrating your competence, leadership and impact in the circular economy
- Provide a CPD plan for the next 12 months
- Sign the declaration committing to the CEI Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct
- Your application will be reviewed by an approved CEI representative
- Successful applicants progress to a professional review interview
- Present for 10 minutes on how you’ve applied circular economy principles in your role
- Participate in a 40-45 minute discussion with a panel about your experience, understanding and commitment to professional standards
- Upon successful completion, receive your CEI Fellow credential and post-nominals

Continuing professional development
Professional membership requires ongoing commitment to learning and development. All CEI members must engage in CPD activities to maintain and enhance their competence in circular economy practice. Members receive discounts on CEI training courses to support their professional growth.

We are committed to inclusive access to professional membership. Reduced rates are available for individuals facing financial hardship and professionals in Least Developed Countries.
